Conveyancing Quality Scheme

The Law Society introduced the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) to recognise quality standards in the home buying process.

We are members of the CQS which means that we meet the high standards that the Law Society sets to ensure that we give clients a professional and quality conveyancing service.  We are committed to providing an efficient and cost effective service with our clients’ best interests at the heart of everything we do.

The CQS improves efficiency with common consistent standards and service levels and enables consumers to recognise practices that provide a quality residential conveyancing service.

The CQS requires practices to undergo a strict assessment, compulsory training, self-reporting, random audits and annual reviews in order to maintain CQS status.  It is open only to members of the Law Society and to those who meet the demanding standards the scheme will set and has the support of the Council of Mortgage Lenders, the Building Society Association, Legal Ombudsman and the Association of British Insurers.
